Prophetic Words for Sunday, April 26th 2022

Prophetic Words:

Given by members of congregation and from the Pastor. This service was jammed-packed full of the Word and Spirit of God moving within our midst. We know how easy it is to leave Sunday service and forget all that happened, and all that was said. But we also know the importance of the Words of God and the importance of our duty to be good stewards of what God is giving to us. So we want to try and make these word available for your viewing pleasure. And available for your use for study or review of what the Lord is saying to the Church today! Please feel free to share a portion or our page with friends and family for encouragement. Thank you for visiting this page, We pray it blesses your heart as it did ours!

Tabitha:

There seems to be a theme today, at least for me… about opening the eyes, and ears and being sensitive to what the Lord has to say. The song we are about to sing: Holy Spirit come and in the bridge we will sing sort of a prayer that says: “Let us become more aware of your presence”.

Tyrone:

I believe there are many of you here that want more of the Lord’s presence in your life right now. I am going to encourage you to surrender, give up your will and give it all to Him. Surrender your heart, your mind, your preconceived thoughts of what a service you’re your life should be. Surrender and give Him glory, because His presence is here now today. If you will push through the crowd and touch the hem of his garment. -just like the woman in the Bible that pushed through the crowd.
Father you see the desires of our heart to touch the hem of your garment, in the process of worshiping you today Father we ask you to touch your people, loose them and let them feel your presence like never before, let our ears be opened that we will hear the voice of God and say YES! I know this is my God in heaven and I know he is here ready to speak to my heart. Lets Worship Him.

Tyrone continued

The Holy Spirit is Here this morning, I’m walking back and forth and the Lord says, “Call them out” I said Who do you want me to call out Lord?, He said, “Those who will believe that I am here today, and I am ready to move in your situation, Call them out” So, If you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and savior and you have a need this morning, then step out from your pew and come down here cause the Lord has a word of Healing, Deliverance, prosperity, There is something that is going on in your life that you have to have a word from God, – Not from a pastor, a worship leader, another person, no You need to hear from God. He is here and He has called you out, will you come to Him?

Lord, I know you are my healer, my provider. I surrender, I am no longer going to try to do things that are not pleasing to you. “Will you prepare yourself, will you walk with me?” says the Lord See your people today, they are weary, they are tired, -just like he disciples in the garden they became tired and fell asleep.

Rise up Body of Christ

The Lord says, “Rise and walk with me, Let me touch your life, let me strengthen you, let me pour out my spirit upon you today.” Now! Faith is the substance of things hope for. Rise up Body of Christ, do not allow the enemy to take away the joy of the Lord in your life. The Joy of the Lord shall be your strength says the Lord. Rejoice in me, Rejoice in my presence says the Lord. I am the God that health thee, I am the God that provides all your needs not according to your riches, but according to my riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Will you walk with me, Will you talk with me, Will you dine with me? Don’t look to the left or to the right, quit looking for someone else to do something for you.

Prayer for Holy Spirit

God is your provider, He is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, the Messiah, The alpha the omega the beginning and the end. We come before you O Lord, for you are the King, the Mighty God, Father, Glorify your Name, move in your Body, Strengthen them. Let us now be weary in doing good, don’t grow weary says the Lord, For this is the day I have set you free. Lay hands on your neighbor. Let the anointing of the Holy Spirit flow through your vessels O God. You called us to walk and pray. We are praying that your perfect will be done in Your body in my friend, in my brother in my sister. Do what You need to do Lord, Right now. We come into your presence lifting holy hands, we thank you for all that you have done and all we know you are going to do. We as, you to pour out fresh oil, let us fill our containers with the anointing oil of God. Lets Worship Him, Let Him hear Your voice singing to Him. He Is Welcome Here, His Glory is what our hearts long for! Draw close to Him and the word says, He will draw close to you.

Gloria:

The Lord says, Yall just brought to Him a fresh gift. You’re coming and showing to him. And if you really mean it, I will double and triple your blessings. He said, as you give unto me what I ask of you what I shall do? I, the Holy spirit will show you. Reach in today ready to receive it, because its just begun. Know this “anything you plant, in my Godly church that I have placed you in, -know it is an end time harvest, for the Kingdom is here, this is the kingdom of God in your sight.” Know, everything that you have been going through, you feel like you have been shedding and hurting, this old pain and how much more God can I take? He said You are precious jewels being refined and you’re going to shine for me and my ground and place it before me. It has all started, you are not ready yet, but I am telling you, what you shall receive. Enter in and receive. Thank You all, and Thank You Jesus.

Beckey:

On the interstate I saw a billboard with one word “Suddenly” As soon as I saw it I heard God say, Its suddenly going to happen. God has been speaking through Pastor Tyrone telling this church to get ready, prepare your heats. We may ask, How can I prepare, Prepare for what?
Ask yourself some questions; If someone came to me and asked who is Jesus, Could I tell them? Some are saying well the Holy Spirit will give me the answer, but God says, No I’m not. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. In the Spiritual- Some of you are healthy in the physical but dying in the spirit. I want you to dive deep in my word I want a relationship with you.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the [d]Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Tyrone:

Yesterday we spoke at a memorial service, and I was to pray, and my prayer was:
Lord thank you for allowing us to glean in the fields. Its yours and my responsibility to glean behind our lord Jesus Christ. And in the story we read that Boaz says, throw some extra out there for Ruth that is gleaning. God is given you the ability, He is throwing it out there for you to pick it up. Too many Christians for too long have sat back and said fill me Lord, but I’m not going to put in any effort on my part, and by this, many Christians have missed many opportunities.

When Elisha said to Elijah and asked for the double portion, and He said, If you follow me and If you see me then you will know the Lord has allowed you to have that double portion. There is an opportunity for you to have the double portion, Don’t sit back, allow yourself to see what the Lord is doing. If you would like to have that double portion, then give it up, surrender it all. And when you give it to God and draw close to Him, He will draw close to you.

Tolu:

1 Kings 19:9-13 9 And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the Lord came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”10 So he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.” 11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire [e]a still small voice.

13 So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Message from Tolu

What did he say to Him in vs. 9 What are you doing here Elijah? Some of us think we want earthquake, we want wind, we want storm, but God was not in those things. As we are standing up sitting down, God is close by, He is in a still small voice. Elijah thought and maybe wanted God to come in a loud, miraculous way, but God was not in the way he expected, God came with the same message, in a still quiet voice. The same question is coming to you today, in a still small voice. What are you doing here?

Fulfill Your Ministry

“You be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” 2 Tim. 4:5

(Check out that verse in a couple different bible versions.. its pretty awesome)

In the Scripture above, we are told to “Go! Fulfill your ministry! Fulfill the purpose for which you were created”. We all have a purpose to which we are called, and we have a circle of influence in our lives, we need to be influencing this circle in a positive way and bringing them into the fold of God.

Spiritual Ignorance

Recently, for our Easter program in a word I felt led to share with our congregation, I read a couple verses from scripture from the gospels. (You can find that Word here.) I shared the story of Jesus’ visit to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. As he entered he sobbed and felt deep sorrow for His people. His heart was for all of them to come to the knowledge of Him, His heart was to bring them peace, His heart was to comfort and protect them, but they were unwilling to accept Him and it broke His heart. He knew the consequences of their unwillingness, and He was deeply saddened for what they would have to endure because of their spiritual ignorance.

I believe God still feels the same way for the world today, saddened for our spiritual ignorance. Jesus died for you, and I, for our neighbors, our families, our enemies, our friends… Everyone. His desire is to have everyone of them saved. His desire is for their spiritual eyes and ears to be opened to hear and see what He is doing. But sadly many are spiritually deaf and blind.

Jesus wept

Scripture says that as Jesus was approaching the gates of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. (1 week before he was crucified) He saw the city and wept. The word wept means more than just tears running down His face, it’s the kind of cry that is felt in the gut and the body is involved. More like a deep sobbing and great sadness. Scripture says in the Gospel of Luke:  As he approached and saw the city, he wept for it, [and the spiritual ignorance of its people]  saying, “If [only] you knew this day what would bring peace—but now [because of spiritual ignorance] it is hidden from your eyes. For the days will come on you when your enemies will build a barricade around you, surround you, and hem you in on every side. They will crush you and your children among you to the ground, and they will not leave one stone on another in your midst, because you did not recognize the time when God visited you.”

And in Matthew 23: 37-39

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who murders the prophets and stones [to death] those [messengers] who are sent to her [by God]! How often I wanted to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.  Listen carefully: your house is being left to you desolate [completely abandoned by God and destitute of His protection]!  For I say to you, you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed [to be celebrated with praise] is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”     (Which we know is His second coming and the time for Salvation will be too late)

The Warning

“But now because of spiritual ignorance it is hidden from your eyes” … “Your house is being left to you desolate [completely abandoned by God and destitute of His protection]” All because they “did not recognize the time when God visited you”. These words were meant for Israel in their time and they still have a spiritual blindness today. But for us today, The Lord is visiting us right now. If your reading this, it is not by accident. The Lord has something to say to you today! I believe this warning still rings true for any who do not heed it. We are meant to recognize Him when visits us. So, I beg of you, don’t be like those in scripture who did not recognize the time of their visitation, or those who were spiritually ignorant, or those who were unwilling to come to Jesus. If so, then the Holy Spirit will begin to hide His ways from your eyes, and be left without protection from the Most High God. Instead, let us be like those who are Spiritually awake and alive to Christ, who have the Holy Spirit within us moving and guiding us. And He will bring peace and protection into our lives. Many times throughout scripture it is said, “He who has an ear, let Him hear.” We want to be the ones who can hear out God and not be spiritually deaf to Him.

Fulfill Your Ministry

In our recent Easter program (transcript here) we had a pretty concise message:
If you’re not saved, get saved and all the promises of God are for you. If you are saved, get busy about your Fathers business and stop allowing the enemy to push you around. Jesus died for you to live an abundant life. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. In the program mentioned above, we put more emphasis on what Jesus’ death on the cross accomplishes for the believer today. For us, we have access to all the promises God lays out in His word.

Did you know?

God has promises for you?
Jesus makes available gifts for you today?
He leaves you with weapons to fight with?
There is a purpose for which you were created?
You have talents and abilities that God gave you for a specific reason?

Dig into His word today, and seek the Lord for answers to these questions! Happy Reading, and Go out and fulfill your ministry!
Reach out to us if you have any questions, concerns or need any prayer. We would love to hear from you.

What does it mean to be a Christian?

Are you a Christian?

What does it mean to be a Christian? Well, if you were to “ask google” this is the response you will get: Christian- relating to or professing Christianity or its teachings, or a person who has received Christian baptism or is a believer in Christianity. Interesting but I think there is more to it than that… A quote I found and personally think is quite fitting is below:

“The original Greek word for Christian is “Christianos” which comes from the two Greek words “Christ and tian.” The word Christ means “anointed” and tian means “little.” So the word “Christian” literally means “little anointed ones.” During his life Jesus was called the “messiah” which meant “the anointed one” and we are his “little anointed ones” who have been anointed by his Holy Spirit to represent Him in this world.

Interestingly, the word Christian is only found three times in the Bible. However, how do you know if you are truly a “Christian?” I can say I’m a car because I’m in a garage but that doesn’t make it true? Or, just because I’m surrounded by a chicken fence that doesn’t mean I’m a chicken. I believe being a Christian is more than just saying a few words but is rather a changed life and a new way of living life according to scripture.”

Wow! So, Are you a Christian? has your life changed since becoming a Christian? I’ve heard it said, that Christian meant “like Christ” or “follower of Christ” -I am not interpreter of ancient languages, and who knows what sites or opinions are reliable on the internet. But one thing we know we can put out trust in, and that is the Word of God.

Let’s read Scripture:

1 John 3:7-9 Little children, let no one deceive you He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous

1 John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

James 4:4 do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God

1 Cor 10:21-22 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

1 Peter 1:13-16 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be  sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

A Christian should Practice Righteousness

Here we can see that the Lord calls Christians to act differently from those who are not followers of Christ. We should be practicing righteousness which causes us to reflect the image of Christ more and more each day. On Sunday, dad defined Practice; the regular exercise of an activity or skill as a way to become proficient in it. So, our practicing of righteousness has a goal of becoming proficient in the ways of Christ.

Of course, we cannot achieve salvation by our actions, it is important to state that fact. Jesus gives us the gift of salvation freely. Remember, to be saved one is simply asked to believe in his heart and confess with His mouth Jesus is Lord. Read Romans 10:9 for clarification on that point. However, today’s topic is more about what it means to be a Christian, so lets get back to it!

How can we practice our righteousness?

First, we must learn what to do. We must read the Word of God. How can we become proficient in anything if we don’t know the steps to take? The Bible is our How-to guide. It tells us what we should do, and what we should stay away from.

Next, pretty simple… Let’s borrow Nike’s slogan and Just do it! We learn from scripture what we should do, now we just have to put into action. Daily. Just like any sport, activity, or skill, practice makes perfect. The more we practice, the better we become at it.

The Importance of Prayer

An important instruction to remember from the Bible is to pray about all things. Prayer is essential, it is our connection to our coach, the Holy Spirit. He guides us through all our “practicing”. Unmatched to anything anyone in this world can give, The Holy Spirit provides support, guidance and faithfulness. When you commit to showing up for Him, He will never let you down!

Are you a Christian?

To be a true Christian or to truly believe in our hearts and confess with our mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and the He died for our sins, and was supernaturally raised to life… your life will begin to change. It may not completely change in a day, a week or a month. But it will begin to take steps towards the goal of becoming “like Christ” or becoming “little anointed ones”. Take a moment and examine your live, your actions, your hobbies. What do you enjoy talking about? Do the things you doing the most involve Christ or becoming more like Him? What do you spend most of your time doing? Do any of these things involve Christ or becoming like Christ? If not, you may want to consider making some changes.

Hard times Ahead

Christians in the book of Hebrews were “hard pressed on every side”. During that time, they were ridiculed, and even killed for their beliefs. Scripture instructs us to not lose heart, no matter the cost, but instead stand firm in the name of Christ. More than being brave, Christians are called to be obedient and never deny who we are. We are created for a purpose, its time we find out what that purpose is, and make a plan to accomplish it.

The bible says, we are going to endure hard times. The enemy is always after a Christian. But we are told, we may be pressed, but we wont be crushed, struck down but not destroyed. So, when times get tough, don’t loose heart. God is with you. Keep pressing toward your goal. The Lord is with you wherever you go. So, do not be afraid, be strong and courageous! Amen!

Time with God is time well spent

Time with God is Time well spent

Jerry Jenkins, author of the Left Behind fictional series, assisted Billy Graham in writing his memoir, Just As I Am. In one session Jerry asked him for secrets, hints he could offer others on how to maintain their walk with God.
Billy insisted that people shouldn’t look to him. Jerry answered, “But they do.” He pressed for an answer at least on how the renowned evangelist maintained his own spiritual discipline.

“There’s no secret to that,” Graham said. “God doesn’t hide the key from us. The Bible says to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to search the Scriptures. And I do that.”

“You pray without ceasing?”

“I do.” Jenkins made a point of saying Graham answered all his questions with an air of pure humility. Billy added that he had done this every waking moment since he received Christ as a teenager. “I’m praying right now as I’m talking to you. Praying that God will use this book (his memoir), that it will be clear that it’s more about Him than about me, praying that we’ll both do our jobs well and that He will get the glory.”

Mr. Graham also talked about reading the Bible frequently throughout the day.

“Say you miss a day or two,” Jenkins said. “How do you get back to your routine?”

“Miss a day or two? I don’t think I’ve ever done that.”

“You never miss?

“I told you. This is my spiritual food. I would no more miss this than a regular meal.”

Is it any wonder that God’s hand has been on Graham in such a powerful, effective way?

Like me, you may not be on a level with Billy Graham. But by God’s grace, we can all strive to follow Jesus more consistently.

The importance of the Word of God

“I would no more miss this than a regular meal.” Wow, think for a moment, the importance the Word of God held in this man’s life. Now imagine if we, the entire Body of Christ held the Word of God in this esteem in our own lives. An utterly astounding possibility. Think if just those of us in Word of Faith held the Word of God to this esteem in our lives!? What a beautiful service we would have. Can you imagine the joy of coming to the House of the Lord for worship with a group of people so on Fire for God and His Word!? -Well it starts with You and Me.

The Importance of our Relationship with Christ

On Sunday, dad shared the importance of building our relationship with Christ. He mentioned how we need to work on getting out of religious acts we are involved in and get into a serious, meaningful relationship with Him. God doesn’t want acts of religion from us simply attending church on Sunday’s, or praying every night before bed, or whatever else we think will win His approval. He wants us to BE the Church, come in on Sunday’s and spend time in His presence at His feet. Praying to Him for wisdom and guidance, for healing and restoration. We don’t need to clean up, shape up and dress ourselves up on the outside to be good enough for Him. He loves us and calls us just as we are. We only need to have a heart that is submissive to His leading and He will work out the rest.

God wants to speak to you today

God wants to talk to you. He has things He wants to tell His body – to tell YOU. It is His delight and pleasure to help, lead, and protect us. If we can get in a close relationship with Him, we will hear His direction and be better able to stand against the wiles of the enemy that seeks to destroy us.

How will you spend your time?

Every day we have an opportunity to be strengthened or corrupted. What will you choose today? How will you spend your time this week? Time is but a vapor, it is here today and gone tomorrow. We are told in the Bible to be wise with our time. Be proactive about your Spiritual life. If you are looking for God to move, He is also looking for you to move. Show Him you are interested in hearing from Him. Take the first step and watch Him change your life. Make a plan today, schedule bible reading and prayer time daily. MAKE it become a habit to get into the presence of God on a daily basis. Do this and I know God will do amazing things in your life and in the lives of those around you. We send out weekly emails with devotions like these and inside these emails are a list of prayer requests from our local Church body. The Evil Day

Renew Your mind before the Evil Day overtakes you

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  -We need to renew our minds!
The devil comes to us and says, that’s not for you, you can’t do this. But please know today, that the devil is a liar. Scripture says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Now lets find out what God has to say for us to do when the evil day comes upon us.

The Evil Day

I feel an urgency in the Word being brought through this message. God says to us today, “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand Therefore.”  The evil day brings with it overwhelming circumstances, spiritual battles, the body of Christ under attack. Our comfort and sense of security being shattered, dreams we may have had being crushed.

On Sunday Pastor said to us… Newsflash! You’re on Satan’s Hit list! You’re in the top 10! He is after you, your family, your children, your dreams, your life, your career. He’s after You. Pastor told us on Sunday what Paul told those in his day. “I want you to know how to approach this kind of day because you are going to need the strength of the Lord on that day.” He let us know that our normal go-to approach isn’t going to work. We will need the Lord’s strength. These will be battles like you’ve not seen before.

The Spiritual Realm

He also wanted to remind us that everything visible and physical is preceded by that which is Invisible and spiritual. Throughout the book of Ephesians, Paul refers to heavenly places and spiritual realms. We cannot continue living life like these things are fables and fairy tales or we will become overtaken before we know it. Luke 22:31-32 “And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” -The enemy wants to steal, kill and destroy each one  of us, but the Lord prays to God for us that our faith should not fail.

Jesus sought His Father for strength, with eyes focused on the Spiritual, not the Physical

This reminds me of the Easter program that we are currently working on. When Jesus was in the garden praying, He sought His Father in heaven for strength. He prayed long enough that he returned to his disciples 3 times and they had fallen asleep. For Jesus, the situation was so dire, so stressful, his sweat turned to drops of blood. Can You Imagine!?

When we are in dire situations, we need to remember where our help comes from. Our help comes from The Lord, The maker of Heaven and Earth. He alone is the answer to our problems. In Jesus’ case, he had to endure affliction and death and sometimes we too may have to endure hardship. But I believe Jesus was given strength from God in heaven to endure. Remember, as they beat Him and utterly crushed Him, He didn’t say a word. He had His eyes on the Spiritual realm. He knew He would wipe away the sins of the world and see His father in a few short hours. If we too could get our focus off the fruit of the problem and get to the root of the problem, we will gain strength and wisdom to overcome the “evil day”.

We must choose to look at life through spiritual lenses to know how to pray and trust in our God for He is faithful.
Ephesians 6:8 “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:10-11 … be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Final thoughts

Do not run away from God when you are in the evil day, run to Him. You are now engaged in Spiritual warfare. Stand firm and dress for success, He has given you your armor, The Armor of God, use it. -When the bank account has failed you, when the Dr. has failed you, when your friends have failed you… You shouldn’t have been looking to these for answers in the first place. Center yourself on Jesus Christ and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. What can we do to center our lives on Jesus?

Eph 6:18-20 pray(ing) always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, be(ing) watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.  Pray, with prayer and supplication in the Spirit and be watchful with all perseverance and pray for others. Prayer builds our relationship with Jesus, we must have a relationship with Him and open communication with Him to be able to hear clearly the instruction he has for us in this life.  Fan into flame the fire inside of you. It is there, ignite it! Ignite Definition: Arouse into flame, cause it to catch fire! AMEN!

Prophetic Word for Sunday March 23, 2022

Every Sunday after our time of worship, there are often times of bringing that Sunday’s prophetic word. We do not take God’s word lightly and we want to hold his Words near and dear to our hearts. Below you will find the Prophetic words brought to you by various members of our congregation on Sunday, March 20, 2022. You can find the video for this service here. The words below were brought to you by Pastor Tyrone, Ms. Chari, Ms. Gloria, Ms. Tolu, Ms. Beckey, Mr. Johnson, and again by Ms. Gloria.

Pastor Tyrone’s Prophetic Word:

The Lord says -Will you allow me to ignite you? Will you allow me to spark into flames the fire that you need in your life to burn away the chaff. So much chaff we are carrying around, The Lord says, I would like to burn it away for you, all the stuff that you have placed before me. Set it aside and lite it on fire and watch it burn. Let it me burn inside you with a fresh fire, a fresh zeal, a fresh anointing, a fresh understanding a fresh holy spirit touch.

That you might walk in life, and you wont be just walking in the tombs stones, walking amongst graves. I want to bring you up out of the grave, out of the stuff. I want to bring you away from the the cares of this world. The stuff that is choking out the word of the Lord that’s inside of you. Hear my voice today, walk with me, dine with me. Will in not anoint you a fresh? Will I not fill you anew? Cry out to me, and say fill me Lord.

Ms. Chari:

Sunday’s prophetic word brought by Ms. Chari:
I am doing a new thing, but you have to get out of my way and let me. It is my desire to make this new thing in you, but you are not God, I AM GOD. There are things that I need to bring to correction and you have to get out of my way to allow it.

Ms. Gloria:

The windows of heaven are open. I’ve swung open the gates. Come today while the water is flowing, the fish are swimming, get in with those fish and swim up… Sometimes yes, it is hard, but I am well able to help you say’s God. The fish are swimming up, My spirit is here, anything you need, just call on me. I am your Good Father. I am the Alpha and Omega, My hands are not tied. Raise up those hands that hold you down and look onto me the Author and Finisher of your faith. It is not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord. I am able to defend all that comes against you. Put on the whole armor of God, come unto me and I will do mighty mighty works for you.

Know this, the people are standing in the isle waiting, the angels are there, they have their hands folded down, when you say the word, I am coming In your defense, I will fight for you, I will bring you out for my power has been placed upon you. Look unto me, and know the kingdom of God is upon you.

Ms. Tolu:

Sunday’s prophetic word brought by Ms. Tolu:
She read all of Psalm 91 aloud for us, Click Here to Read it:

She stopped and pointed out the last paragraph:
“Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

That “he” in vs. 14 is You and I, We love the Lord, The Lord says He will rescue us. God say’s because we love Him, He will rescue us, protect us, when we call on Him, He will answer us, He will be with us in trouble, He will deliver us and honor us, with long life He will satisfy us, and show us His salvation. AMEN!!!!!!!!!! Thank You Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms.  Beckey’s Prophetic Word:

If you want to do this fine, if you don’t want to fine. But if you do it, believe that Jesus will do it. Everyone take a step if you choose to, if you really want to get out of God’s way and watch what he’s gonna do and trust what he is going to do, let me tell you when you get out of his way you might not like what you see. And your going to have to trust Him. I’m going to do it, I’m going to step on the count of 3 step with me. You can get out of your slump and out of your mess lets do it. 1…2…3… Amen. God we praise you, we come before you and say you are in charge. We give you permission to do whatever it is that you want to do in our family in our lives in our nation in our city. Our eyes are on you and we are focused on you in Jesus Name Amen!

Mr. Johnson:

Sunday’s prophetic word brought by Mr. Johnson:
We step out of your way, in the United states of America, on behalf of your children all over the world, we step our of your way. We ask o God that you bring peace all over the world in the Name of Jesus, We ask that you forgive us our sins, the sins of the nation, the sins of America, the sins of Russia, the sins of China, we step out of the way in the name of Jesus. Forgive the sins of Ukraine, and bring peace all over the world in the name of Jesus. For all in this assembly of this church we step out of the way. We ask you to take charge right now, in our homes, in our families, in our children. Thank You father, Let your name be Glorifies, in Jesus name we pray Amen!

Ms. Gloria:

Ms. Gloria returned to encourage the body to remember God is here for you. His church is a place for you to experience his presence, a place to come unto His throne and bring our troubles, our concerns our hurts to Him and to leave it at His feet, to praise Him, to enter into His love, His healing, His power that is available to set you free. She encouraged us to come into The Lords house and praise Him in all seriousness, that its not a game. That we take our relationship with the Lord seriously, we aren’t playing church, we aren’t coming to sit in a pew, but we are coming to lay our lives at the feet of Jesus and worship Him. For this is the house of worship for our Mighty God. She reminded us that it is beyond time for the Lord to have his way in each of our hearts and for us to get out of the way and surrender ourselves to His power and might and allow Him to bring us to the place He has in mind for us.

How to Grow your Faith

How to grow your Faith

A message brought to you by Chari Rapp and members of our congregation
Its so important to be sure we are taking steps to grow our faith. If we don’t we can easily become comfortable. When we become comfortable we are not growing our Faith. When we aren’t growing we become stagnant and that’s never good! Below are some steps we can take to help us get our faith back in a position for growth. Please feel free to email us at Wordoffaithms@gmail.com and let us know what you think of this message. You can also message us on our facebook page. We hope this message encourages you to action and provides direction for moving faith in your relationship with Christ. Or send us a prayer request.

How to grow your faith by directing your Focus

Firstly, we need to put Jesus at the center of our lives. We need to keep our focus on Jesus rather than the many problems that arise. By doing so our faith will grow and prosper. When we keep Jesus as the center of our attention, everything in life is just better. Often the problem doesn’t go completely away, but when our attention is on Him instead of our problem, that problem suddenly seems less important. When we know He loves us, He is guiding us and He is in control it brings all things into perspective. God has placed an order to things, and in that order He comes first. Whenever He isn’t first in our lives, then sometimes he has to bring correction. When correction comes, it is usually uncomfortable to say the least, but if we submit to His authority and choose to do it His way we will quickly and easily get back on our Faith Growing track.

Faithfulness

Our Faithfulness to Him helps grow our faith. When God gives us instruction it may sometimes seem impossible. Or we may question him, “God how is that even related to my situation I am asking you about?” But be encouraged today and be obedient to whatever it is He asks of you. Sometimes He gives us instructions to accomplish things that we could have never worked out on our own. He is bigger, Greater, Stronger, Wiser and He loves us. Trust Him. He is for his children, not against them. If you call Jesus your Lord and Savior, then you are His Child. Trust Him. Be Obedient. It is all for our good, even if it doesn’t seem like it, even if it doesn’t feel like it. He knows the situation and He has a plan. Ask for instructions, and be obedient.

Scripture says, “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Sometimes we can’t even trust our own advice, or our own feelings or our own thoughts. But we can ALWAYS trust Him. Our faithfulness to Him will always help us grow in our faith.

Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. God knows what is best for us. He loves us and has great things in store. The enemy, using the ways of the world, often chokes out our faith, and tries his best to hinder us from growing. We have to shake those thoughts that Satan whispers in our ears. He tries to steal, kill and destroy what God has given us. But remember, in the midst of the enemy’s schemes, all we need is faith the size of a mustard seed, and it has the potential to grow into a huge tree!! Be encouraged today- Keep your thoughts on Jesus, keep positive, trust Him, His word, His timing. Know he is in control and His will for our lives will come to pass and we will be blessed.

Spend Time with Him, and Don’t give up

1 Timothy 6:11-12 11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. To continue to grow in Faith, we need to be conformed into His image. We cannot let sin rule in our bodies by obeying its lusts. We have to do what Jesus says, “take up our cross daily and deny ourselves”. Romans 8:13 Paul says to put to death the deeds of the body. So growing our faith doesn’t come without a fight, and it doesn’t come without a struggle. But it produces within us strength to better fight this battle. His word lays out for us instruction to overcome.

Spend Time in His Word, it is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path

We must live by the Word of God (our Bible) it is the instruction manual for us. We must feed on it, meaning, just as we gain strength, or sustenance and nourishment from food for our physical body, so too we gain strength, sustenance and nourishment from the Word of God for our Spirit to overcome the Spiritual battles we face. As we read it, the bible says we should meditate on it. To meditate on something we must think deeply or really focus for a period of time, to contemplate on it. Now, if someone has to think deeply on the Word of God that must mean, we won’t get all there is to receive from it by reading it one time. It takes effort. But when we put in the effort, we will surely get the reward. As we read and meditate on the Word of God, next comes acting. We can’t simply read it and not allow it to do its perfect work within us. We must read it, meditate on it, and begin practicing what we are told to do. Additionally, when we pray in the spirit and give God praise this too will bring us in closer relationship with God and also helps us grow our faith.

Are you Ready?

Are You Ready?

Why am I asking you, “Are You Ready?” because… there is something we need to be getting ready for. If you’re a Christian, you probably already know what I am talking  about. We have a wedding to get to and we should be getting ourselves ready for it!

Good things in store

Isaiah 43:18-19 says, “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring for the; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

God says, I will show you the way, follow me and walk the path I lay out for you. In 1 Cor 2:9 it says, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

There we can see that God has good things in store for His people, but those good things are for His people. There is an open door of opportunity for us to be called “His”. This door is closing. Every day we get closer and closer to it being shut. Are you Ready for that?

The Bible says, in Matthew 25:10 “the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding; and the door was shut… “Afterward [they] came saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’  “Watch therefore for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”  Revelation 22:12-13 says, “And behold I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Are you ready for the good things in store for those who are “His”

The Bible say’s of those who are “His” in Matthew 13:16-17 “Blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see and did not see it, and hear what you hear and did not hear it.” Are you ready, Are you seeing what God is doing in the world today, Are you hearing His cry? If so, What do you see Him doing, What do you hear Him saying?

If you are unsure of the answer to those questions, It is past time to get ourselves in order. Today stand up, dust off, wake up, get engaged and let’s be about our Father’s business until He comes! If you are unsure of What God is saying, please feel free to email us at: Wordoffaithms@gmail.com. Reach out to us and ask for guidance, we are here for you to stand with you, pray for you and help get you back to the Father! You can also reach out to us on our facebook page and send us a message if you would like.

Let’s get ourselves in order

In Psalms 51:1-2 we find the words of King David when he was corrected by God through the prophet Nathan of his wrong doing. David’s attitude is one we should adopt. When he was corrected, he didn’t get offended instead he simply prayed to His Father in Heaven: “Have mercy upon Me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.David realized His mistake and asked for forgiveness. Today if you have found yourself in a situation where God is bringing correction into your life, please re-read the words David spoke. Make it personal, between you and God.

The Bible says in James 4:7-9 “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. In that scripture it shows us actions we can take to draw near to God. 1- We should Resist the Devil. 2 Draw near to God. 3 Cleanse our hands. (stop doing wrong), 4 Purify our hearts. (set your heart on Jesus only-not Jesus and worldly pleasures… we can’t be double minded.. “If God is God -serve Him)

God is here to help you! Are you ready for help?

Isaiah 40:28-31 says, “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Today, remember the Lord. Remember His goodness, Remember His lovingkindness. He is with you, for you and loves you, He is calling His people to come to Him, to get ready and He is asking His bride to prepare for the wedding. We must clean ourselves up and make ourselves ready for Him. For the day is coming, like a thief in the night, when it will be too late, don’t let that day come upon you, be ready, stay ready.

Are you Ready? The King is coming soon!

Revelation 21:1-8 “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “it is done! I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

A Word of Warning

All too often we attempt to take life’s problems, complications, worries and stresses upon ourselves. I think you would agree, that more often than not, we often sit and think up a hundred ways to solve an issue, or fix a problem. When we finally come to the point where we can’t handle it any longer we decide to pray about it and “give it to God”. This isn’t to speak down on those of us who do this, because I know I sure do find myself doing it more often than I would like!! But it is a word of warning. Today we point this out as an area in our lives in which we can do better. Today we want to stop and pray to the Lord and ask Him for help in correcting this issue. To all of us that we need to work on this we must work on training ourselves to come to Him first for instruction and then act in obedience. When we come to God first in all things the results that follow are: a better relationship with Him, becoming more like Him, and walking in obedience with Him. The effects of us training ourselves in this one area benefit a wide variety of areas in our lives and can/will potentially have an effect on those close to us.

Doing what is right “in our own eyes” has consequences

On Sunday, dad mentioned the story of King Ahab, using him as one example of the many Kings in Biblical times (and today’s times!!) when they “did what was right in their own eyes”. When we apply this concept to our personal lives, the effects are the same as it was for the nation of Israel. If we do “what is right in our own eyes” we are setting ourselves up for failure and evil will be lurking around every corner to tempt, distract and destroy us. When we seek the Lord’s guidance in all we do we will have stability and success. In King Ahab’s search for solutions to his problems, he found himself in the temple of Baal looking for answers. We too can sometimes find ourselves outside of God’s will and looking for answers in the wrong places when we don’t go to Him first. Some start slow by searching for just a temporary fix, just a little distraction or relief and it can lead down a path that winds up far from God’s will.

Be Careful, It’s a slow fade

As dad spoke on Sunday on this topic, his speech moved into a message with a word of warning. It reminded me of an awesome song I’ve heard in the past with a strong message of warning. Its called “It’s a Slow fade” By Casting crowns if you would like to listen I’ll put a link to the song below, but the Lyrics are:   Be careful little eyes what you see, It’s the second glance that ties your hands As darkness pulls the strings
Be careful little feet where you go, For it’s the little feet behind you, That are sure to follow

It’s a slow fade, When you give yourself away, It’s a slow fade, When black and white have turned to grey
And thoughts invade, choices made, A price will be paid, When you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day… It’s a slow fade…

Be careful little ears what you hear, When flattery leads to compromise, The end is always near.
Be careful little lips what you say, For empty words and promises, Lead broken hearts astray.

It’s a slow fade When you give yourself away, It’s a slow fade When black and white have turned to grey.
And thoughts invade, choices made A price will be paid When you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day.

The journey from your mind to your hands Is shorter than you’re thinking.
Be careful if you think you stand, You just might be sinking.

…A price will be paid When you give yourself away.
People never crumble in a day, Daddies never crumble in a day, Families never crumble in a day

The Warning

What a powerful song and word of warning many need to hear right!? Destruction usually comes with that “slow fade” one decision, then another, then another… The Bible says there is fun in sin… for a season. Don’t be surprised when the consequences of that sin comes knocking on your door. Gen 4:7 says, “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.  Note: You should rule over it! There’s our hope, he hasn’t left us to sit in our sins, even when we make wrong decisions, He is there with strength to help you get back up in a position to rule over the evil that is “seeking whom it may devour.”

King Ahab’s Warning and our warning

In the story of King Ahab, God sent Elijah with a word of warning to the people. God said to them, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.”
God has a warning for us today, Matthew 25:6-13 And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘ Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

The Lord has a word of warning to us today also, watch therefore!
Ask Yourself: Am I making good decisions? (because those decisions have very real consequences)
When it comes time to go into the wedding, will I be ready to go in? Or will the door be shut before me?
If you are unsure of the answer to those questions, please reply to this email, and let us help you draw near to Christ for instruction.

Hope for Restoration

In the Story of Ahab, the land was without rain as a consequence of their sin. Elijah prayed for rain, and God sent the rain. We must take this word of warning today and take steps in correcting our mistakes. If you find yourself today in a place of suffering the consequences of sin, please don’t let the enemy convince you that you are stuck there. You are not. There is hope for restoration. God can hear the cry of His people. He has used many men who have most likely done much worse than you have. (example Paul) God wants to send rain into your life today, He wants you to choose Him. He wants you to come to him so He can help you with all of the many issues life can bring. Please make a choice today, to seek Him first in all things, for He will direct your path!

Scriptures for additional encouragement

Ps 42:11
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

2 Tim 1:6-7
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Ps 103: 1-2
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:

Prov. 3:5-10
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones. Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

What have you planted?

There was an old song my mother sang to me when I was a child almost every time it rained. To this day I still remember these words: “It’s beginning to rain, hear the voice of our Father. He’s saying whosoever will come drink of the water. For I will pour my Spirit out on your Sons and your Daughters. If you’re thirsty and dry, look up to the sky, its beginning to rain.” The Lord brought this to my attention during a sermon preached at church one Sunday morning, the sermon mentioned that the rain is coming. Rain means abundance, rain means prosperity, It means provision, it means your harvest is going to be great. I want to say to you today, It’s beginning to rain. What have you planted? What have you sown?” Because with the rain, comes a harvest. So what will you be harvesting?

Be Watchful

Be watchful

Be Watchful, for the enemy is prowling around like a lion seeking who he may devour… But He has a very strategic plan in place to get to us and our children without us noticing!
-Lord open our eyes, that we might see. Amen.

Bad Habits

Remember the felling you get about a parent or grandparent? Think of their actions, their habits. Did you feel loved, did you feel safe, did you feel instructed? Did you have a clear since of right and wrong? You knew how they would react to certain actions from you. How they disciplined, how they corrected. How they taught you. Maybe when you remember a parent or grandparent or any guardian you may have had, you remember the hugs, the love, the kindness, the peace you felt around them. Whatever it is that you remember about that person, they left a mark on your life. How has that played apart in who you are today?
